Albeit only 17 were pct miles. Found bear spring a few miles in then shortly after lost the trail again so to make a long story short , there were lots of dirtbike trails intersecting with the pct fallowed one of them instead and ended up bushwhacking down to Bouquet reservoir. Tried to hitch to trailhead but no such luck, so I had to walk up the 3 road miles to where I already should be. Found the trailhead and put on good miles from then on. Super trail magic today, first when I had got low on water there was a timely cache only to find an amazing place complete with chairs, register, and a cooler filled with sodas. It was also decorated with all kinds of skeletons and a pink flamingo, this was pretty unbelievable. Hung out long enough to run into Loren nice fellow and chat with him for a moment before heading on once more , only later to meet again at the ranger station on san fransisquito rd. where he would try to hitch to casa de luna a hostel in green valley. Thinking of my luck with hitching earlier in the day I would pass. Camping just off the trail and will tarp up to try to keep some wind off of me.
